Exploring the balance of manufacturing and nature, like the growingly popular rock stacking. Originally way finders, now taken out of context, exploited by humans and our need to continually make our mark in nature. The constructing of stone stacks, a kind of environmental graffiti, when the purpose to be in nature was to leave the human-dominated world behind. As with the process of metal inflation, its a balance of fabrication and nature taking its course. Though the individual forms are primarily dictated by the artist, it is the 'controlled loss of control' of the inflation that brings organic nature into the fabrication not the fabrication into nature.
